After Richard Kalm’s resigning, Henry Williams was nominated as a new Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) Executive Officer, after being approved by the Governor Gretchen Whitmer.3win333 Singapore Casino Since 2001, Williams has worked with the MGCB and recently served as the deputy director of their casino operations department, overseeing the enforcement department, employee licence, gaming lab and the initiative for disassociated people.

Prior to becoming the Deputy Head of the casino operations branch, he has previously worked as regulatory and compliance agent, regulatory manager at the employee licencing department, and acting Deputy Director. Prior to joining the MGCB, he was a social worker who served as a youth justice worker, family independence expert, protective protection officer and probation official. Williams was a social worker in government.

Regulatory monitoring

Henry Williams currently serves as deputy director of the Regulatory Authority Casino Operations Branch, supervising the Compliance Section, Employee Licensing, Gaming Laboratory and the Disassociated Persons Programmes. Henry Williams has been named Executive Director of the MGCB for a six-year period after a record roll-call election in the Senate and will replace Richard Kalm, who since the 2007 mandate has been appointed by two State Governors, by Gov. Granholm and Gov. Snyder.

Former Jobs

Williams held numerous roles within the MGCB until his appointment in 2001, including a regulatory and compliance officer, employee licencing regulatory manager and then acting deputy head of the casino operations.

Williams was also a social worker who held a variety of jobs within government, as a youth justice worker, family independence specialist, protection services and probationary officer, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Marygrove College. He is currently board chairman for the Detroit Recovery Project and an Adopt-A-Child Program member.
